Re: City Center visit

Don't kid yourself, Steve. Those guys saw you walk in with a Men's
Warehouse suit and had you pegged from the first second.

Personally I wouldn't put anything on my back that costs less than $3,500
because I read GQ and Esquire. "Dress for success" I always say.

(Right now my Dockers are getting a little tight because of the holidays.)
Seriously, how does anyone afford the clothes they advertise in those
magazines, which includes Playboy?

I think this will be the crux of the problem for City Center. There's
a limited number of folks with that kind of dough & that number has

I have to imagine the rent at CC is higher than most of these stores
other locations. Should be some interesting meetings when CC has to
justify the higher lease rates when they can't deliver the customers
those rates are supposed to command.

BTW, when I saw the $700 jeans and decided to post about them I had a
strong suspicion you would be among the first respondents.

What I am learing is that I have to shop at Burlington Coat Factory in
order to dress well enough to shop at Mens Wearhouse, where I have to go
to dress well enough to walk in to some of these high end shops.

Maybe that is how they weed out the riff-raff.
