My trip so far

Monday I decided to play tourist and head down to the strip with my
camera. I had to wait for almost 20 minute for the Deuce to arrive and of
course you could see 3 of them come up from the strip right behind one
another. I exited at the Forum shops and wondered around there then
worked my way over to the wild habit at the Flamingo. In all my trips to
Vegas I really never went into the Flamingo unless it was to cool off
while walking down the strip. the next stop was the Bellagio and the
conservatory. This years display looks like it's not finished, that's how
bad it looks. I then went over to PH and walked through the miracle mile
shops to keep cool and headed down to the MGM to take pic's of the lions.
I'm amazed at how many people can't figure out that they need to turn off
there flash if they want pictures of the lions without the reflection of
the flash in the photo. The Coca Cola store was next for a few bottles of
Mexican coke. I then hopped on the Deuce and got the front seat in the
upper deck, which is great for taking pic's of the strip.

I returned to the Cabana suites to rest my dogs and then headed out to the
trip 7 for dinner and MNF. A fillet mignon sandwich and a few red lagers
later I found myself settling down at a VP machine as the person next to
me hit his royal and took the progressive of $1600 +, his S/O then hit a
jackpot on another machine while I spent the evening trying to win 2 hands
in a row. The MSS got a nice piece of change from me that night so I
moved on to the Golden Gate. I hit quad Q's on a barttop machine and BSed
with the bartender Dante for a while. I then followed the cab drivers
advice and sat down to play roulette. $40 was my budget to lose but I
ended up cashing out with $150 after toking the dealer. By this time I
was extremely drunk and wondered in and out of the various casinos on my
way back to the ElCo, this was down in an effort to avoid the undesirables
that were out at that time and I was an easy target. I finished off at
the ElCo playing roulette again and cashed out there up $60. I have no
idea what time I got back to my room and spent the whole day recovering.
I can drink like I used to, I just can't recover like I used to.

Tuesday was sleep all day and dinner at the Flame. I had the Panko
crusted fried shrimp app. and the chicken Vesuvius for my entree. Iced
tea to drink and the apple crisp for dessert with hot tea came to $41 for
a lot of food. The chicken dish was what looked like a whole Cornish hen.
I then proceeded to drop $40 into a .25 DDB machine and built it up to
550 credits but gave it all away chasing the elusive first royal. I came
close but pulled the 9 instead of the"J" to hit the flush but miss the
royal.

I check out of the ElCo in the morning and into the Golden Gate. I was
going to go to the VOF but this wind is a bit much, so I'll just hit the
pinball HOF and In-n-Out burger and a few other things.
