The later you could hold it in Joooone, the happier I would be. My
daughter gets out of school by the last weekend of Joooone (sometimes
by the weekend before, depending on snow days and what have you), and
currently my attendance at a Lost Weekend is limited by the fact that
I have to be back by Sunday night for Monday morning school (my taking
personal vacation time doesn't get around this problem). If the
weekend was past the end of her school year, it becomes much easier to
make arrangements where I can come down on a Thursday, leave on a
Monday.

As a matter of fact, I am now flying down Saturday (and back Sunday)
because my daughter has a choir performance I simply MUST be at on
Friday night, and had to change my plans considerably from what my
weekend (I cashed out my Golden Gate room and will be staying a
friend's Saturday night, and will be renting a car instead in order to
get around Saturday).

Well, generally the deeper you go into June, the hotter it gets,
although I see they're already calling for 109 highs by this weekend.

There's really nothing stopping us from switching (in the future, not
this year) to a different time of the year entirely. Would any other
time (other than summer) be good for someone with kids?
