Re: Costco deal for restaurants

Why would I bother with a Costco membership?

My GF and I figured it out for two. We think just using coupons and buying in bulk when items are on sale, works out cheaper. Remember also that you have to make up the first $45 in savings from your membership fees.
Shopping at Costco or Sams Club makes sense for large families but not for us. But I am sure for toilet paper, it works wonderful for you, Gary.

We use Walmart for most general grocery, Trader Joes for most of our dairy, sauces and fish (the best), and produce at either Food4Less or Sunflower; meat (especially chicken) at Lucky (welcome back) and loss leader sale items at the other markets. My location here in Spring Valley is ideal to pretty much every shopping store in Las Vegas. Sometimes if it is a special need we will go to a specialty market.

But my GF and I always to the same conclusion: WE DON'T ENTERTAIN AT HOME.

M,

So you were lying when in the previous post you said you had mentioned the Costco deal quote "many times". Thank you for admitting that you were caught lying again.

As far as your personal preferences for food shopping, I could have guessed you were a Walmart shopper. Cheap to the core. And buying fish at Trader Joe's. They only sell frozen. The rest of your list gives us good reason to know just why you look like you do.

One of the reasons you look like that is that you admit you shop at 6 or more places for food. Most people would call that a food compulsion. I call it *JAFSS*. That stands for *just another fat slob shopping*.

Regarding your location in Spring Valley I hate to be the one to tell you this Mr Scrooge, but it snowed there yesterday. You didn't know because you were cooped up inside in the 53 degree indoor temperature you keep the thermostat at, trying to keep all that body mass warm under 14 layers of clothing and that girly cowboy hat. Get outside.

Finally, the real reason you don't entertain at home is twofold. #1, no one has ever come over to the place you call home and #2, you don't have a girlfriend.

Thank you for clearing that up.

Gary
