No, I'm not talking about any people who post here. ;) I'm referring to
the odd behavior when I download messages in this group. I use
motzarella.org as my news server and Windows Live Mail as my reader. Only
this group out of the 10 or so that I read has this problem. There's
always a 2-3 second pause when I click on a message before it comes in.
Then after I see the text of the message, if you need to scroll down to
see more text, there's another 3-4 second pause before it will move. Does
anybody else see this? Does anybody know how to make it behave? Thanks.

I use motzarella at times. If I don't use it regularly, this group in
particular takes a long time to load. It might have something to do with the
amount of activity here, I don't know, but I have noticed the same thing
you've noticed.
