Re: Best Vegas book/most over-rated Vegas movie

Book: "Storming Las Vegas: How a Cuban-Born, Soviet-Trained Commando Took
Down the Strip to the Tune of Five World-Class Hotels, Three Armored Cars,
and Millions of Dollars" Nice short title to boot. Starts off ok but is a
very boring read for such a aggressive action true story. Written in a long
winded fashion, so the title is quite appropriate. I couldn't even read the
book all the way through which is very rare for me.

Movie: "Cooler" not saying it's bad but it is terribly overrated. There are
some truly ludicrous things happening in this film, I think the great acting
performances and pretty cool premise overtook a lousy script. The fact is
was based in LV but filmed in Reno is something that irks me also.
