Damb, CLM in ND <camarvel8@xxxxxxxxxxx>, do I have to 'splain
EVERYTHING to your dumn ass????
Is it me, or do they have the most messed up online reservation system
around? I always call to book my comped rooms because their website
doesn't seem to recognize promo codes. Every time I've entered the
code, their online reservation system seems to ignore it. When I call
the El Cortez directly I've never had a problem. Is this a common
problem? I seem to recall others on AVLV mention problems with other
hotel/casino online reservation systems.
Until recently, MSS' online booking engine was much worse than El Co.
They finally have it working now where it will accept promotion codes.
The El Cortez website also has higher rates than some of the travel
websites, most notably Travelworm. If I don't have a comp coming to
me for an upcoming trip, I will usually book thru Travelworm & so far
I've never had a problem with them. Plus, they offer the seldom seen,
but often mentioned, "vintage suites" on their site, which for some
unknown reason the El Cortez website refuses to acknowledge.
I have gotten some amazing deals on El Co rooms through Orbitz special
deals in the past.

Andrew <-- is it JOONE yet?
"John Payton is a complete dolt who would argue the theory of
gravity if it were put forth in Spanish or by a black person."
"normzauchin" on John Payton, in AVLV
