I don't know about MA, but that is not the case in Los Angeles.

I don't see too many Canadians at the Social Security office.

The SS office in Van Nuys is right next to my friends Pawn Shop and the
lines stretch down the street especially on Mondays.

Sorry, but these Hispanics are not Americans. Quite frankly, the native born
Mexicans in my old neighborhood hate them too! And blacks REALLY hate them.

Van Nuys, Panorama City and Sepulveda (now called North Hills cause nobody
likes the name Sepulveda anymore) is pretty mixed. The closure of the GM
Plant and Schlitz Brewery destroyed the neighborhood for many years.
Economic recovery was slow but it did come. Today many Hispanics have
become part of the middle class and opened up shops and stores. Since I had
my office there for several years, I bought from these businesses, had
clients, and lived in the neighborhood. Nothing unifies people together
like MONEY. And despite what some people think, MEXICANS (not Hispanics, not
Latino Americans...but MEXICANS) work harder than anyone else I know.

My brother has two sister in laws. One is Filipino and the other is
Mexican. Both came to America as children. Both are well educated, speak
ENGLISH and are AMERICANS. Both work and make good salaries. Filipino also
work very hard and my family calls them the new Jews.

In my opinion the key is family values, belief in God, education, and
respect for others. And good old HARD WORK.
