Keep laughing.. I can challenge your business license renewal here in
Clark County. That is the entire purpose of publishing. It keeps
everyone honest. But you wouldn't know about that. Your lack of renewing
your DBA is both dishonest and sloppy. Why would I trust you to write
code? This old DOS man says you can't write crap.
So little of what you spew merits response, but at least enjoy the hard-on
my brief response will provide.
Unlike you, I try not to bore the members of the group with the details of
my life. But to spare the group having to watch you impotently wave your
rubber sword over my head, here goes.
I don't need a DBA when I'm not D'ing B A. In other words, I don't do
business as Better Way Web Sites. Are you okay with that? Did I need your
permission to move on to other things? Must I shut down the website
(copyright 2005) and give up my most commonly used email address in order
to extricate myself from your lunatic fantasy life? I think I won't.
How I derive my income is no business of yours, but here is a brief
snapshot to try to wrap your head around:
I'm a partner in a matchmaking site of my own design
I'm a partner in a social networking site of my own design
I receive a monthly royalty check for a financial product I designed
I have numerous other web properties of my own in development
I'm prototyping a wi-fi enabled dvr system (of my own design)
This morning alone I hit the keyboard to put the final touches on a
corporate intranet for an insurance company that I have an equity stake
in. Now that that is done I need to knock together a working sample of an
on the fly report generating system for the corporate intranet of a major
home builder. I'm late making a call to do a little support work on a
project I launched in November that was funded by a grant from the
Department Of Justice. On my way overdue list is a complete strategic
plan for a very fast growing company from out of state, as well as some
final touches on some programming for a sports team.
None of these involves "writing web pages".
If you want to try and unravel this complicated web of partnerships,
equity agreements, and royalty payments, be my guest. I've never had to
advertise and I can barely ever keep up with demand.
Sorry to the crew for tossing the lunatic a bone.
Mike, when I call you a douchebag, I mean it sincerely. But in addition to
that, and I mean this sincerely, you are a bad human being. You should be
absolutely ashamed of yourself. As a Usenet citizen you are worse than
Chuck ever was. You lack ethics. You lack morals. Attacking women?
Entering a persons home? Background checks on people you don't even know?
Making Anti-Semitic remarks? Leaving messages on a persons machine?
You're not psychologically or emotionally prepared to participate in a
newsgroup. That is not a huge problem. Lacking the self-awareness to
understand and seek the help you require, or at least abstain from
participation, is.
Mental illness is not something to be ashamed of Mike, and I would
strongly encourage you to seek the healing you need.
To the rest of the group. I'm removing the file. Mike is not a healthy man
and it would be hypocritical of me to call him on his lack of morals while
continuing to torment someone suffering from mental illness.
I had an epiphany halfway through writing this message. It feels good.
