Wow, that is an insane amount of money.
FWIW... Apollo recently paid $1 billion cash for 50% share of Norwegian
Cruise Line. Major shakeups in the boardroom and some new programs that are
more glitz than substance. These guys are bean counters to the Nth degree.
Hey, just what Vegas needs... bean counters.
I don't think this is a good move for consumers, but time will tell.
I don't know if it can be any worse than Harrah's... well, Tamares
does come to mind.
