We are planning a return visit to LV, and today I got an offer from
Circus/Circus for $55 a night. We're not planning on gambling or
eating there, so the real question is the quality of the rooms.
And while I have your attention how about Bally's?
Thanks.
Comparing CC to Bally's is like comparing Compton to Beverly Hills -
IOW, there is no comparison. I would never stay in CC, even if it
were free, which to me would still not be worth it. About the only
good thing going for CC is their steakhouse, which I hear is
excellent.
Bally's has the superior location. You may end up spending more for
your room, but to not have to be at CC, with all the rejects running
around, and to not have to haul back and fourth from that area to the
south end of the Strip would be worth it.
Also, would you want to stay in a hotel where pastel PINK is the main
color? Looks like a giant factory of Pepto-Bismal exploded on the
place for crying out loud.

Considering that 4500kbps wasn't good enough for Lets Dance in SD even on static shots of the presenters without their clothes being covered in huge blocks and everything looking fuzzy how can Luxe TV possibly justify using a bit rate of only 6196kbps when HD has 6 times the bandwidth of SD. ...
