A taunt means "I'm having fun in this great place and you're not," so
you can't really taunt someone who's there with you.

May I sub-query?

When I taunted Andrew from Cabo a few months ago I was not having any fun,
mainly because I was in Mexico and looking at a TCBY Yogurt, a Ruth'
Chris, and a Harley Davidson Cafe. I did however refer back to the great
time I had been having up to that point, as well as the great time I was
going to be having once I got out of that friggin' MALL!

Does that count?

As before - 'If you (The Taunter) and are in a location other than your
own city/town/country,' then I think that it does class as a 'Taunt'

I don't care if you were/are having fun, that doesn't come in to it.
What matters is that the 'Taunter' is NOT at his/her normal 'location'
Thus being in Mexico, while you are American, and 'Taunting' Andrew,
(Being in America) whether you were enjoying yourself, or if you had the
shits, or were surviving on only salads, or whatever.
You (in my opinion) are still classed at the 'Taunter and that the
resulting 'Cyber Taunt' was totally valid.
