Does anyone know what the table limits are at Caesars Palace or Wynn?
They were both $25 in 2005.
I've played at Wynn, Venetian, Treasur (er the TI), Mirage, Bellagio,
MGM and Mandalay. The lowest limit I've ever seen at these places is
$25. As business picks up, they look to push is to $50 and even $100.
Bellagio is the quickest to go up. I've seen it at $50 on a dead
Saturday morning. The Mirage is second quickest. At Wynn and the
Venentian it stays at $25 most of the time, only going up when things
are really busy. I've never seen it above $25 and TI/MGM/Mandalay.
But, then again, I often stay away at the busiest times, so they may
raise the limits.
All places charge $1 on a $25 bet (4%), which is a nice bonus for us
cheapskates.
Thank you for your reply. I remember in 2005 I found at Paris a $10
table, not that I could win anything that day.
The most amazing thing I remember is on Thanksgiving Day 2005 I went
to Wynn to play, before I flew out that afternoon, and was shocked to
find the the empty table had a minimum of $500! I looked at the limit
on the other table which had one gentleman playing and was even more
shocked to see a limit of $1000! He appeared to be playing $5000 a
hand. Needless to say I didn't play there.
