Why a suite?
Try Imperial Palace especially if only one night
Should be able to get in under $100

Passing through Vegas to catch a flight for one day mid-Sept (don't
worry - we're staying for 5 nights earlier in the month) As it's the

Budget is roughly $200 and I've booked a Tower Suite at TI for exactly
that. Anyone got any experience and can I do better for the money??
Strip would be best - we're staying downtown earlier. Thanks for your
help from a long-time lurker.
$200 for a suite on the strip, especially for in that area, is pretty
good. You're close to Venetian, Mirage, Wynn, etc... I don't know if
you can do any better, so I tip my hat to you!
They only way to get a suite cheaper would be downtown. However, it's
becoming harder to get one. In the last few years, several places
downtown (Fitz, MSS, tower jacuzzi suites @ El Cortez) only have
suites for their high rollers. You used to be able to reserve them
online or by calling the hotel.
Donna, if you read this, from what you've told me about your play at
the Venetian, you would have no problem getting whatever suite you
wanted at those downtown hotels. If you play the slots at the El
Cortez like you play them at the Venetian, you'll be comped Jackie's
penthouse.
