I have made a backup to my jpeg collection on a seperate hard drive and placed it in a safe place for safe keeping.when i took it out and tried to restore the images from the back up it copied all the files but when i try to read them (with any app acdsee,irfanview,photoshop,internet explorer,etc)it wont open!!! ... separate hard drive are corrupt or whether something happened in the process of copying them. ...
