I was out of rum & bourbon, so I'm starting to polish off a bottle of
Christan Brother's brandy I bought last year when I had a cold. I've
never mixed brandy before & after tonight I don't think I ever will.
Those brandy w/limeade cocktails are a bit rough! Strongest, nasties
cocktails I think I've ever made. Rum is much better; you can mix
almost 50/50 with rum & it will tast more like what you mix it with
than it does rum. Bourbon ain't so forgiving, and I think brandy is
worse. But, you got to smoke what you've got. There's a liquor
store, The Beer Depot, about a block away, put then I'd have to put my
shoes on, look decent, etc... Too much hassle. I'll make do with the
brandy.
Mixing brandy with limeade?!? I'd say you've really gone above and beyond
the call of duty with THAT one!! I owe you!
Anyway, I've been making a list of things to spout off about ever
since Donna did that post a few days ago. I hope I don't disappoint.
And if I do, feel free to do an unatural act with yourself.
