They are talking about having up to 10,000 rooms by the
end of the decade!!!  When will the Vegas exspansion
finally excede the ability of the airport to handle visitors,
or the local area to support the infrastructure/homes for
workers??

Time after time, Vegas has shown that regardless of the number of
rooms available, they will fill them. If they DOUBLED room capacity, I
think there would be only about a year before they would be thinking
about adding more.
