LV Grand Prix


Hi All,

Traveling to LV next week...YEA. Staying on the strip and then I'll
be "attempting" to navigate into the downtown area during the height
of the LV grand prix. My thoughts are to either rent a car or just
have the taxi driver get as close to the Golden Nugget as possible and
hoof it to the hotel. The http://www.vegasgrandprix.com/ shows they
will have walkways over the course, but I'm not sure what the best
route to approach downtown. Don't want to get stuck in a traffic jamb
with the taxi meter running.

p.s. If anyone knows how much mayhem I'm in for please let me know.
Not much of a race fan and I'm only going downtown since I'm getting
"feed-up" with the strip. Miss the old LV deals..
