Hi,
I've been lurking for a while because we have a trip to Las Vegas coming up
in July. It'll be our first trip there in about 8 years and I've been doing
some research to see how things have changed. We're planning to stay at
Harrah's (thanks to some free rooms for Atlantic City play) and have noticed
some negative comments here - as in "Harrah's is ruining the Strip". Is it
that bad? Should we be looking elsewhere? It looked appealing due to
location and, to be honest, we don't spend that much time in the room
anyway...
Harrah's itself isn't too bad. The rooms are Holiday Inn all over
again, and the casino is friendly, though crowded and somewhat dated.
As said by others, they have tightened the games and slot so as to
fatten the coffers, including the 6:5 BJ and poor pay schedules on VP.
But what the hey, the location couldn't be better.
