Hi,
I've been lurking for a while because we have a trip to Las Vegas coming up
in July. It'll be our first trip there in about 8 years and I've been doing
some research to see how things have changed. We're planning to stay at
Harrah's (thanks to some free rooms for Atlantic City play) and have noticed
some negative comments here - as in "Harrah's is ruining the Strip". Is it
that bad? Should we be looking elsewhere? It looked appealing due to
location and, to be honest, we don't spend that much time in the room
anyway...
As far as gambling, namely video poker & blackjack, they are ruining
the strip. They are real big on 6:5 blackjack & crappy paytables on
VP. If they gave you free rooms, by all means use them, but gamble
somewhere else. Location on the strip is hard to beat, though.
