When Craft Services on the Disney lot has them and you can eat as many as
you want. Doesn't happen too often, but when it does, even Iger has his
secretary come back with two--or three.
Nice score. Out of curiosity, which craft service company contracts
out of Disney? The best catering (not craft services) I have ever had
on a set was from Tony's Catering on the CSI: Las Vegas set in Santa
Clarita. They had everything, including sushi.
Mario's catering is really good too.
Nope, have not eaten a hot dog since Nathans at Coney Island-and that was
after my girlfriend's nagging. Meanwhile my brother and nephew stuffed
their faces..Damn. And they went to the Dodger game last Wednesday (and
made sure to break the win streak.) Not only did they tell me they ate a
Dodger Dog, but also stopped off on the way home at Pinks. I swear I am
going kill them both on Labor Day. I actually made it out the door from
SAMS Club without a hot dog this week
Wow, Dodger Dogs then a trip to Pink's. Man, my colon is crying mercy
just reading that. :>) I am just glad the Dodgers are in first place.
I think they will do well in the playoffs.
Speaking of which, I just took in an Isotopes game with a few girls
that I met over the weekend. We sat in the Berm area, where all the
kids run around in the grass and play. Layed out on a blanket, had
peanuts and beer all day long. Clouds covered up the sun so the
weather was great. The free fireworks show at the end and the free
hats they gave away were just icing on the cake. The only bummer was
that they lost.
All that for a whopping $5 bucks! Let's see the Dodgers do all of that
for $5 bucks. While I love them I'll take in an AAA ballgame anyday.
I am never going to take my girlfriend to my doctor's office again! I am
getting nagged in STEREO now.
But DocTom would be proud of me. My girlfriend tried to get me to eat a
Tofu dog. Bad enough I am sugar free, almost carb free and sodium
restricted, but I am NOT eating a hot dog made from Tofu! I am eating Egg
Substitute and Morningstar Sausage and that is not too bad. I also tried
that carb reduced pasta from the 99 cent store. I would rather eat
cardboard.
Tofu dogs suck. All of 'em. And I do like tofu - certain kinds.
Instead of egg substitute, which is probably worse than the eggs
themselves, why not just eat egg whites? Takes out most of the
cholesterol and gives you plenty of protein. I used to do that during
my body-building days (which I should start up again but I am just too
damn busy and lazy) and they were fine. Just be sure to go for the
good, farm fresh, free range chicken eggs. They are the best. Forget
the normal mass produced eggs, as they are usually frozen. Best bet is
to go for the freshest.
At least I love Fish and Chicken more than Beef and Pork.
Fresh fish is great. Sushi is best.
Question: Any of you go through all this bull***?
Yep. I used to diet and exercise very religiously. Too bad I don't
really hit the gym like I used to, but that is my fault entirely. Come
to think about it, I could probably get a corporate rate at my gym.
Gotta look into that.....sometime.
