11. People who let their toddlers run all over the sidewalks and
streets as if there was no traffic, no one willing to kidnap them and
no way they could be lost in the thousands of people. Hold their hands
of get a damn stroller! People spanking their kids because its 2 am and
they're crying and whining (the kids) because they are TIRED but the
parents still want to be out.

This is a sore point with me as I will never take a child under 21 to
Vegas.....but I never get angry with the children there but I do get
angry with their parents who take them to a place where they are
over-stimulate (bright lights, big crowds, noise, lack of sleep,
different food, etc) and then are surprised when their children aren't
perfect angels.

I think a stop in Vegas with kids wouldn't be bad if it was a day trip
type of thing, walk the strip to the M&M store and go to the arcade and
rides WITH the kids. I personally go to Vegas to escape my kids, its
our only "just us" trip. I'd rather take them somewhere where they
can't see cards full of naked ladies scattered in the streets or worse,
a time share solicitor.

The upstairs portion of Circus Circus had to be the most depressing
place in Vegas. I saw 2 kids just sitting in a corner by the arcade
area crying while 2 employees were trying frantically by walkie talkie
to find the parents in the casino. It was like Lord of the Flies with
kids all running around and barely any adults (or maybe Children of the
Corn). Parents completely ignored the signs not to leave their very
young children unattended. The employees all looked like a weird
combination of homicidal and suicidal, not the best traits in a
babysitter. If I die and go to hell I will be on the second floor of
Circus Circus. The only thing I don't know is if I will be a kid or an
employee. I guess it depends on what I did to get to hell.
