I am still of the

"Old Town" ?
What is this "Old Town" you speak of ?
The town on Main Street OFF the Strip of Las Vegas?
I am not aware of any other part of LV that I've heard the
label of "old". That's also the town where there are laser
shows on one of the streets during Christmas.
If I used the wrong label for the town OFF the north end
of the Strip, surely you know what I mean, don't you?
-- Bob.
Oh, you mean "Downtown Las Vegas" !
No. MY "Downrown" Las Vegas would have been the Fashion Mall
off the Strip, which is in Las Vegas, don't you know?
In your case, I don't think you were playing dumb about the OLD
town as you're actually dumb that it took some superfluous
description to wake you up from your stupor on a fixated
notion of Downtown.
So, what is you knowledge about ANY of the blackjack casinos
in any part of Las Vegas?
None?
Not surprised.
-- Bob.
Dude,
You're sure sensitive and prickly! This is a great group for some of
the best info on Las Vegas you will ever find,
So far I did find a good webpage, but nobody who seems to know
anything about playing backjack or give some PERSONAL info about
why certain casino is "best".
but you need a little thicker skin here :)
LOL! I've been around newsgroups (plenty of them) since the 1980s.
I already owned a flame-proof Asbestos Drysuit <tm> before 1990
when I was posting in some scuba groups. If my skin gets any
thicker, I would scare the rhinos.
Dudette, it ain't thin-skinned as much as dislike of smart dockeys.
If a little gentle ribbing from a newsgroup
regular about your quaintly rube-ish word choice sends you around the
bend (as does really sage advice from a truely educated gambler) you
will have a real problem when one of our resident morons turns on the
flame war! Yikes!
Bring them on! LOL!
Regards,
Amy
PS -- I don't know much about blackjack (there are other positive
expectation games in LV, by the way)
REALLY now? Why don't you name one.
Even blackjack is getting back to negative even for the card-counters
because of the intro of continuous shuffling machines in the major
casinos -- which was what prompted my QUESTION in the first place.
So far -- ZILCH hard info.
Some attempted help <but without the know-how> and more than
some no-info, smart donkeys.
-- Bob.
