I knew it was a culture-less wasteland when I lived there
in '97-'98, but damn

BTW, here, on any given night you can see Pearl Jam, Celine Dion, Barry
Manilow, Elton John, Penn & Teller, Jubilee, or Jenna Jamison doing an
onstage lesbo show with a young up-and-comer.

They you can go to a $5 buffet or a $200 5+ star eatery with the
largest wine selection in the world afterward, and take a Limo, a Cab,
or a Bus.

Vegas is the melting pot of every type of "culture" on the planet.

The only people who could possibly label it a "cultural wasteland" are
people that feel that high culture is a daily snowstorm. And for a
price, I'm sure even that could be arranged.
