Don't ruin your trip by gettting a car.
Take this bus:

And get off at the SSTT. That is the starting point for the Duece bus.
Why is the starting point so great? Because you can go to the top
front of the bus, and enjoy the best, cheapest, most relaxing view of
the Las Vegas strip. $5 will let you ride all day. It will drop you
off/pick you up at near most any hotel on the strip.
Driving from one property to another is NOT fun. It's frustrating,
IMHO.
The SSTT is in kind of a remote, forboding location (especially at
night), but it's staffed by so many cops and security folks (who have
an office on the platform) that it's probably the safest bus station in
Las Vegas.
