When you have Forbes Magazine rating things like "Culture" and
"Coolness", then you shouldn't worry about what happened to Las Vegas,
but you should worry about what happened to Forbes Magazine.
Las Vegas is what you make of it. Quiet suburban oasis with quiet
nights watching TV, nightly trips with your wife of 50 years to the
world's best resturants after retirement, responsible recreational
gaming, or booze-filled nights at strip clubs and $5,000 hands of
blackjack.
Everything that is good, bad, and neutral about society can be found in
Las Vegas.
Las Vegas is like the Internet. You can almost always find what you
are looking for. And in that aspect, it is quite unique.
Therefore, anyone who attempts to "rate" Las Vegas in actuality is
"rating" themselves under the guise of Las Vegas being responsible for
their own proclivities.
