I'm one of those slot players you're talking about. And I agree with you,
but I still play the slots. :)

I think the slots can be mesmerizing, and the bonus rounds kick out a lot of
fun. There's also the quick hit aspect. Walk up to a slot slip in a twenty
and hit the button. Cash out 2 minutes later with a grand or more........but
most often, walk away with your twenty sucked up by the machine. Dayam! I
hate it when that happens.

I've been weaning myself towards the tables, but I always head back to the
slots for some reason. I can play the slots at the local Indian casino for
many hours on 2 or 3 hundred dollars. The last time I tried craps 3 hundred
bucks lasted about an hour. Yeah, the table was cold and I should have
walked away, but hey, I'm still new at it. Who knows what I'll be doing in
the next 10 years or so. Making money at craps? I doubt it, but whatever I'm
doing, it'll still be fun, and that's all that counts.
