Are you kidding? That's when NAB is in town. Hotel rates are sky
rocketing all over the strip for that week, as well as many hotels off
the strip. If you have a good rate at the Golden Nugget for that week,
keep it. You can always swim at the Plaza which is only one or two
blocks away from the Golden Nugget. If you really want to avoid being
reamed, but still want to stay somewhere on the Strip, you will save a
lot of money by rescheduling your trip for one week earlier or later.
