Excalibur being imploded ?

Just come back from a week or so's stay at the Monte Carlo, had a good time
:)
(Apart from neither of the two rooms sinks worked properly...)
While there we went on a trip to the Hoover dam, the tour guide told us that
the Excalibur was coming down to make room for an expansion of the MGM
Grand.
Anyone know if this is true, it may be a bit of a dive, but it was cheapish
for a newer casino ?
Also heard some people on the monorail saying that the Imperial Palace was
coming down in February and Stardust in early 2006, together with the
disapearance of the Boardwalk it means there are getting fewer and fewer
places to stay for a cheapskate like me !
Please tell me the Frontier is staying !!
