Speaking of Prime Rib, we had an offer that we received from Lawry's
for a fixed price dinner of $35 per person. I believe this was a new
homeowner promotion since it was sent to our Anthem House.

Anyway we went there on Thanksging Eve and it was an exceptional meal.
Price included 8 ounce Prime Rib, House wine, Spinning Salad, coffee or
tea and dessert.

First they come with the salad cart and they spin a large stainless
bowl in a bed of ice and make the salad for you. Verdict - salad was
pretty good.

The Prime Rib is cut right at the table by the chef out of the rolling
cart that contained three huge Prime Ribs. He cuts your order and it
certainly was larger than 8 ounces. Delicious mashed potatoes and gravy
included as well as Au Jus for the meat. And for the first time we had
Yorkshire Pudding. Being that we expected a pudding like side dish we
were pleasantly surprised when it is really like an open popover. It
was great for sopping up the Au Jus and Gravy. Veggies are optional and
extra cost. We did not get any veggies. Verdict - Best Prime Rib we
ever had. Could cut with a fork. Mashed potatoes are also outstanding.

For dessert we had the English Triflle and a Creme Bulle. We shared
them and both were excellent with the Creme Bulle being the standout.

Lawry's is a block or so off the strip at corner of Flamingo and
Hughes.
