I remember the rooms in the late 70's were like $9.95 both at El Cortez
downtown and Stardust on the Strip. El Cortez had a huge steak for like
$4.95 and a decent breakfast for $0.99.

In the late 80's the rooms at Stardust had gone up to a whopping
$19.95.

Lately the prices seem to be skyrocketing for rooms. :(
