Sounds like you have planned a great trip, Steve!! I can't tell you how
happy I am that *SOMEONE* from this group will be seeing Paul McCartney!!!
If your show is anything like what I saw on the 11th of this month, I'm sure
you won't be disappointed. He performs for about 2 hours and 45 minutes.

I stayed at The Venetian last week and found a few MINOR changes to my room
since my last visit in July. While I could be wrong, I'm making the
assumption that all of the regular guest suites have received these
modifications:

* The water pressure in the shower is GREATLY improved
* A lightweight down comforter has replaced the regular blanket
on the bed
* The marble shelf and mirror that were hanging on the wall in
the entry to the room were removed
* Glass tops have now been placed on ALL of the furniture in
the living room area as well as the night stands

In the casino, although the entire room was open when I arrived on Sunday
the 13th, by the next day, half of the High Limits Slots room was blocked
off for remodeling. I was told the work would take about a week.

In the main casino, the area between the front escalators and the Player's
Club has been walled off. I was told that about 200 slot machines were
removed and will not be replaced. They are building a poker room.

I was sick the entire trip and only left the hotel once to go to a pharmacy.
Other than having one dinner at Delmonico's, I ordered exclusively from room
service and cannot comment on any of the restaurants you are planning to
visit at The Venetian. But if you decide you want to stay in your room for
dinner one night and you like swordfish, I HIGHLY recommend their grilled
swordfish. It was simply the best swordfish I have ever had anywhere.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Steve!! Have a fun and healthy trip!! Win lots
and have a great time seeing Sir Paul!!

Donna
