Monte Carlo

The Monte Carlo isn't a frequent topic around here (at least not as
frequent as one should think due to its size). I've booked a night for
my december trip as part of my ongoing quest to stay in all Vegas
hotel / casinos. As the $59 rate includes $30 dining credir, I'd like
to know:

- where would you spend it and why ?
- what do you think of their steakhouse ? Never heard any reports from
there.
- anything special to ask for at check-in beside the obvious (Strip
view, upgrade) ? Is a ceratin part of the hotel more desireable ?
