If you mean that they only have won the World Series once, then you are
correct. They've won lots of preliminary series, however.
But they're recent history is pretty dismal:
They've lost 4 of 5 of the last division series they've appeared in.
(2000-2004)
They've lost 3 of 4 of the last NLCS they've appeared in. (1997-2001)
They've lost 4 of 5 of the World Series they've appeared in. (1991-1999).
Their overall record in post-season series won/lost since 1991 is 12-12.
One the plus side, they appeared in probably the best World Series ever
played against the Twins in 1991, losing in the 10th inning of game 7 1-0.
