A lot of mistakes were made by Clinton and the Republicans in congress
during his tenure, but what we have now is a different administration in
the White House POST-9/11 and this is supposed to be an administration
that we expect to IMPROVE disaster readiness from the point we were at
on 9/11/2001, yet this lax response to Katrina attests loud and clear
that we are not yet ready to deal with another disaster, be it an act of
terrorism, or a so called "Act of God." Clinton and Gorelick are not
running things now, Bush is.
