You really believe that's the reason Jim? You know, if the CIA, FBI and the
national security agencies had been doing their job and working together we
wouldn't have had a 9/11 attack. Most of the Hijackers were on a terroist
watch list and they all should have been under watch. Now BECAUSE of 9/11
our security agencies are paying attention to people like these when they
come into our country. These guys were trained to infiltrate our country,
blend in with the population, work in small cells and then strike at a
certain time. These were not the same people who pack a car full of
explosivies and drive it into a check point or pull out a rocket launcher
and shoot it at a building Jim. Jim they are as different as a CIA spy and a
army foot solider. Both of them are trained to kill you but they each do it
in a different way. Bush talks a good game but he can't back it up. His
re-election speeches were scare tactics, telling everyone that he was the
only one who could keep us safe from another terrorist attack. And if we
didn't elect him then the country would suffer another 9/11. Yet 2 weeks ago
everyone saw this strong Cat 5 hurricane coming for days, and when it
finally hit our shores tthe presidents Homeland security, FEMA and all his
promises just floated away.

So tell me, if Bush can't protect us from a storm that he can see coming for
days, how is he going to protect us from a terrorist that he doesn't see
coming?
