OT: Can looting be excused?



Evidentally the authorities are not making a big fuss out of all the
looting that is going on in N.O. I heard both the Governor and the
Mayor this morning state that "people are running out of food, and that
they have to get it somewhere." Maybe that holds true in the city
proper, but not in Biloxi or parts therearound.

The whole thing is way too sad to contemplate. I love N.O., but fear it
will never be the same again.
