I agree with this usage. I mean, I hear it from time to time. Its usage is not rare. "Anymore, I can see the field from here.:
Not only is that so rare around here (BrE) that I've never heard it, but I don't even recognise "anymore" as a word. Unless, perhaps, you're a dyslexic raven.
