Scandinavia is the countries Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

The Nordic countries are the countries that are members of the Nordic
Council which also include Finland and Iceland.

The term Nordic is not commonly used in English, probably because it
has been appropriated by "white power" loonies, who originally adopted
it from the Nazis. A Google on the word will find a great number of
websites, almost all of them highly unpleasant.

Maybe it's not commonly used in some circles, but I regard it as a perfectly ordinary term with exactly the meanining Per attributed to it.
