What is Western equivalent of Chinese phobia?
I was in in Taiwan last week, and I saw that they fear numbers (4, 13,
14) for some reason. It is to the point that they will not name their
building, car, or even cell phone.

As you can see from above picture -- 4, 13, 14 are missing. I read
somewhere that people in North America also fear certain numbers. Is
it true?
For some reason I was surprise, because I thought education suppose to
make people give up superstition.
