Yes, he has, though someone else had to set up the amp for him.
He has even toyed with the idea of getting himself one, and if he had had
three or four thousand euros burning a hole in his pocket he might have
done so already.
You ask can two different Homeopathic high dilution
remedies be distinguished?
This is a good question and takes us to the point -
Yes, it is and it does.
Homeopathy will be proven by MODERN research and
MODERN science in laboratories.
How do you know this? And how is "MODERN" research different from the
research of the past century-and-some, which has conspicuously failed to
produce any evidence for homeopathy that would convince anyone who was not
already a believer.
I have seen some
research which explicitly says YES that they
can be distinguished by MRI analysis.
Citation?
You've got three vials of pure water and you can distinguish what _used_ to
be in a bottle with some of their molecules them by MRI? That's some
pretty good instrumentation.
Has that
research been replicated - I'm not sure and don't know.
OK
Is this true or false. I don't know, it's research.
My point is that because we can't imagine the mechanism
or because it violates are cherished high school chemistry
knowledge, that is NOT enough to declare the whole thing invalid.
I don't know where your fixation is on high-school chemistry comes from, but
the idea that pure water retains information from molecules that it has
never been in touch with and that that information is somehow biologically
active violates enough of what is known about chemistry and physics and
biology to fill up the undergraduate and graduate curricula in these
subjects as well.
By
analogy, I mentioned the "many body" theory
of Quantum Physics which I find nonsensical. Certain unexplained
things in physics could be explained by postulating a series of
infinite parallel universes each
with slight variations and all the consequences that that entails.
But, you WON'T say me posting in newsgroups,
that this branch of physics should be killed off
and funding denied because I find it nonsensical.
Do the math first; then you might have a right to complain. Of course, by
then, either it won't seem nonsensical or the fact that it _seems_
nonsensical won't matter to you.
Nobody has the right to condemn the Homeopathic research
based on their personal "common sense" or other
personal opinion, we MUST leave it to genuine scientific
researchers. When they find an answer, it will probably be a Nobel
prize winning discovery.
You mean "if", not "when".
And if research shows
that it is impossible for such nano structure to exist or other
information that dooms the water "memory" idea,
Research -- or rather, our state of scientific knowledge -- provides no
reason for thinking that such a "memory" could exist.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. A claim for the
existence of water "memory" is just as extraordinary a claim for the
existence of purple unicorns on the moons of Jupiter. A claim that the
memory has therapeutic value is just as extraordinary as a claim that those
unicorns are watching over and protecting humankind.
you can be sure we
will soon hear about that and it will be
the end of Homeopathy.
I hardly think so. People hold on to their beliefs with no less fervor when
they are wrong.
