i want to consult you on the title of my classmate's MA thesis.could
you help me?
the title of the MA thesis is:
On Norris' Vision of Female
someone said that the title was not good and suggested that it is
"On Norris' Viewpoint on Female"
This suggestion is a warning to pay no attention to the source.
Both titles are defective. English requires the definite article
THE in this title -- vis. Vision of the Female. (But even as
amended this title seems defective. We would expect the
title too be Norris's Idea of the Female or Norris's Concept
of the Female or perhaps Norris's Image of the Female.
Why "vision"?)
