Can you help me choose the best one? OR can you keep the same idea
for each sentence and correct it if it is verbose or incorrect.
1/ " While studying in mathematically specialized classes
at...(school name), I took many math and physics courses and
usually achieved top scores in class"
2/ " While studying in classes for the Mathematically Gifted
at..., I took many math and physics courses and usually achieved
top scores in class"
3/ " While studying as a gifted student specialized in Mathematics
at..., I..."
How about this:
"While studying specialized mathematics at...(school name), I took many
math and physics courses in which I usually achieved top grades" (or
"marks" for British English, I think)?
I think it's possible to include the "Mathematically Gifted" phrase in
the sentence if you use it as a program title rather than a personal
description:
"When I was in the Mathematically Gifted Program at...(school name), I
took many math and physics courses in which I usually achieved top
grades."
