Patching together holes



It's hard to speak fluently on the radio; even professionals sometimes
stumble. A reporter on NPR's "Morning Edition" this morning said "The
Justice Department is trying to put some steps into place to try to
patch all these holes together. . . ."

To make one big hole? To make the quilt of nothingness?
