This is another Tardis reference, isn't it?

I don't think so.

The use of a Tardis could have caused great confusion.

Day 1:

A to B: There seems to be a problem with the bank. Let's
jump in the Tardis and go back a week and withdraw our
hard-earned money.

B: OK.

<Tardis whizzing sound>

Day -6:

A and B withdraw all their cash and return to the Tardis
singing "There may be trouble ahead,...".

Day 2:

B to A: It looks like we were right to get all our money
out.

A: Yes, along with the other ten thousand people who
hitched a lift in the Tardis. I wonder what the bank's
problem is?
