Anybody know how to get Google to correct a typo on a page it's
created?

Does Google create pages? I thought they just searched for
pages created by others.

If you search for "Paul Brians" in Google and then click the link to
"Common Errors in English Usage," you'll arrive at a very nice page
which near the top reads "Paul Brian's website" instead of "Paul
Brians' website."

I tried to do that, but I came to a page headed "Home Page
of Paul Brians". ( http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/index.html )
Maybe you've already corrected the problem. If not, you
would do well to provide a URL for the page you want people
to look at.

Anyway, if my name were Paul Brians and if I were concerned
about people writing the possessive "Brian's", I would write
it "Brians's". That should help to get the message across
that your name's not Brian. I would also pronounce it that
way, "Brianses". I believe style guides approve of the
"-s's" form when your name isn't "Jesus".

People often assume the S at the end of my name isn't part of it. They
glance at my e-mail address and assume I'm "Brian S." and write me
cheery notes beginning, "Dear Brian." I'm almost used to that. But
it's irritating to have this happen on a page dedicated to errors in
English.

I have no idea how to get the Google folks to do anything about this.
Suggestions welcome.

I seem to remember there being a provision to delete Google
pages if I was the one who submitted them. If you can still
do that, you could delete the offending page, then submit a
corrected version of it.
