Interesting stuff. I am surprised by the "Not for sale outside Canada"
statement, and wonder why it's there, and what organization or
government requires it.
Anyone care to add cereal box data from other countries?
Ours all have something like "Made in Australia from local and imported ingredients". Even one that lists no other ingredients than "Whole wheat, 99%, salt," says the same thing.
I haven't seen the equivalent of your "Not for sale outside Canada" on any of the breakfast cereals, but I have occasionally seen it on other things. I expect it is a matter of where that company or subsidiary is licensed to use that trademark.
