ObAFC: today is Flag Day.
We seem to have let the 40th anniversary of the original Multics flag day

Does France have a White Flag Day?

war?
In the UK, the archetypal serial surrenders have traditionally been
the Italians. [1] We do ascribe negative characteristics to the
French, but being cowardly is not usually one of them.
