Like most of the other replies, if not all of them, yours goes to show
that the British don't care a hoot about a set of conventions
internationally agreed upon.
1. I'm not British, so I fail to see how my response indicates
anything at all bout what the British care about.
2. I did not agree with that particular set of conventions, and I will
continue to use any units of measurement I see fit, and abbreviate
them in any manner I see fit.
You can take your SI and put it where the sun don't shine.
