Hooved animals went to glue factories where their hooves and bones were
used to make glue.
Glue these days is made mainly from starches{think Elmer's,} adhesives{like
airplane "glue"} are made from alcohol based solvents, neoprene rubber and
various resins.
Acetone, MEK{methyl-ethyl keytone},and toluene being the most common.
